\"\"<\/a>The coaches from the Ely American Legion Basic Marksmanship class would like to provide our local community with an opportunity to take the Iowa DNR Hunter Education class locally.\u00a0 On\u00a0January 13 and 14th<\/span>\u00a0the Ely American Legion will host this class.\u00a0 Sign up now.\u00a0 Limited seating (25) available and there is no cost to you.\u00a0\u00a0The Linn County Pheasants Forever will be paying for the lunch for the class on Saturday.<\/span><\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

The class will be\u00a0Jan 13 & 14<\/span><\/span>:\u00a0(NOTE THAT attendance on both days is required\u00a0<\/b>to\u00a0obtain a Hunter Safety Certificate)\u00a0<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

January 13, 2018<\/span><\/span>:<\/u><\/b>\u00a0(Saturday<\/span>) is classroom instruction: From\u00a08:00 AM<\/span>\u00a0to\u00a05:00 PM.<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0(LOCATION: ELY AMERICAN LEGION)\u00a0<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

January 14, 2018<\/span><\/span>:<\/u><\/b>\u00a0(Sunday<\/span>) is the “hunter’s walk class” From\u00a012:00 noon<\/span>\u00a0until all students complete the hunters walk and certificates are handed out.\u00a0(Class duration is dependent upon students the\u00a0Sunday<\/span>\u00a0class would take ~3 hours)\u00a0<\/u><\/u>(LOCATION: ELY AMERICAN LEGION, but if weather is conducive, this may change to be at the HAWKEYE WILDLIFE AREA)<\/p>\n
